Description
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 27th January 2022 between the INFLIBNET Centre, Gandhinagar, and Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, to facilitate the hosting and management of Electronic Theses and Dissertations.Under this MoU, CSU will utilize INFLIBNET’s platforms such as Shodhganga and Shodhgangotri to upload, preserve, and provide open access to scholarly research. INFLIBNET will extend technical support, provide anti-plagiarism tools, offer digitization and metadata guidelines, and conduct training programs to ensure effective implementation. CSU commits to maintaining standard metadata formats, using approved software, and ensuring timely uploads of theses and dissertations. This collaboration promotes open access, digital preservation, and national-level visibility of Sanskrit research and higher education output. The MoU marks a significant step toward enhancing the university’s research infrastructure and supporting the broader goals of academic transparency, accessibility, and long-term digital archiving in Indian higher education.
