Abstract
Description
This Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 17th July 2023 between Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, and Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The MoU aims to foster academic collaboration in the Indian Knowledge System, with special emphasis on classical languages such as Sanskrit, Pali, and Prakrit. The agreement includes developing academic programs (certificate to postgraduate level), facilitating student and faculty exchanges, promoting joint research and publications, and organizing conferences, seminars, and workshops. It also encourages internship opportunities, access to academic resources, and mutual visits for institutional understanding. Both institutions will explore additional areas of cooperation and work together in teaching, research, and outreach activities. The operational details will be specified through supplemental agreements and depend on the availability of funding. This MoU is a framework of mutual academic intent and does not impose any legal obligations on either party.
