dc.descriptionयह रिपोर्ट भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा पर आयोजित कार्यशाला के उद्घाटन सत्र का सार प्रस्तुत करती है। सत्र में यह विचार प्रमुखता से सामने आया कि यदि पारंपरिक ज्ञान पर केवल संस्कृत विद्वान ही चर्चा करें और वह भी आधुनिक अकादमिक संस्थानों जैसे IITs और IIMs में प्रस्तुत न किया जाए, तो समाज को उसका लाभ नहीं मिल सकेगा। वक्ताओं ने बल दिया कि संस्कृत आज भी प्रासंगिक है और उसे आधुनिक शिक्षण विधियों से पढ़ाया जाना चाहिए। इस सत्र में एक चार सूत्रीय दृष्टिकोण प्रस्तुत किया गया: परंपरा की आलोचनात्मक समीक्षा, वर्तमान आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप पाठ्यक्रम निर्माण, समाजोपयोगी ज्ञान का अनुप्रयोग, और पारंपरिक ज्ञान को आधुनिक शिक्षा में समाहित करना ।hi
