dc.descriptionThis report summarizes the events of the inaugural session of the three-day national workshop titled "Transforming Sanskrit Libraries in the Context of NEP 2020 for Viksit Bharat @2047," held from March 26 to 28, 2025, at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), New Delhi. Organized by Central Sanskrit University, the workshop aimed to reimagine the role of Sanskrit libraries in the modern digital age, in line with the goals of the National Education Policy 2020. The session featured Chief Guest Prof. Shantishree Dhulipudi Pandit (Vice-Chancellor, JNU), who emphasized the digital revival of Sanskrit resources. Shri Shankaranand Ji and Shri Chandrashekharanand Joshi Ji urged libraries to become living knowledge hubs. CSU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shrinivasa Varakhedi, in his presidential address, highlighted the need for libraries to evolve into welcoming, knowledge-sharing spaces. dc.descriptionयह रिपोर्ट 26 से 28 मार्च 2025 तक इंदिरा गांधी राष्ट्रीय कला केंद्र , नई दिल्ली में आयोजित तीन दिवसीय कार्यशाला "Transforming Sanskrit Libraries in the Context of NEP 2020 for Viksit Bharat @2047" के उद्घाटन सत्र की घटनाओं का सार प्रस्तुत करती है। इस कार्यशाला का आयोजन केन्द्रीय संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा किया गया, जिसका उद्देश्य राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 के परिप्रेक्ष्य में संस्कृत ग्रंथालयों की भूमिका का पुनर्परिमाण और आधुनिकीकरण करना था। उद्घाटन सत्र की मुख्य अतिथि जेएनयू की कुलपति प्रो. शांतिश्री धुलीपुडी पंडित थीं, जिन्होंने संस्कृत संसाधनों के डिजिटलीकरण और उन्नयन पर बल दिया। विशिष्ट अतिथियों श्री शंकरानंद जी एवं श्री चंद्रशेखरानंद जोशी जी ने ग्रंथालयों को जीवंत ज्ञान केंद्र बनाने की आवश्यकता पर प्रकाश डाला। केन्द्रीय संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रो. श्रीनिवास वरखेडी ने अपने अध्यक्षीय भाषण में ग्रंथालयों को ज्ञान-विनिमय के समर्पित केंद्रों के रूप में विकसित करने पर बल दिया।hi
