Abstract
Description
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 1st February 2023 between Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, and the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training, under the Ministry of Culture, to advance cultural education in line with the National Education Policy 2020. This collaboration aims to integrate Sanskrit studies with Indian cultural heritage. CSU, as the world’s largest multi-campus Sanskrit university, and CCRT, a leading institution promoting culture-based education, will jointly develop certificate and diploma courses, organize seminars, workshops, and collaborate on cultural documentation projects such as the Digital District Repository. The MoU also emphasizes identifying young talent, promoting interdisciplinary research, and enhancing cultural awareness among students and educators. Both institutions will work together to preserve and promote Indian traditions, art forms, and knowledge systems, aiming to make Indian culture a vibrant and integral part of national and global education frameworks.
