Abstract
Description
This Memorandum of Understanding, signed on 19th October 2023, between Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, and the Indian Institute of Technology , Roorkee, aims to promote cooperation in education, research, and service. The MoU establishes a collaborative framework for joint teaching, training, research, and academic initiatives to strengthen ties between the two institutions. It focuses on areas such as Sanskrit-based knowledge systems, science and technology, artificial intelligence, sustainable development, traditional medicine, and Indian knowledge traditions. Key activities include faculty and student exchanges, collaborative curriculum development, translation, workshops, seminars, and sharing of academic resources. Intellectual property rights will be mutually respected and addressed on a case-by-case basis as per institutional policies. The MoU does not create binding legal or financial obligations and all cooperation will be based on mutually agreed terms. Effective for ten years, it reflects the spirit of mutual understanding, goodwill, and academic growth between the partnering institutions.
