Description
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Central Sanskrit University and Indira Gandhi National Open University on 22 June 2022 to foster collaboration in the fields of distance education and Sanskrit promotion. This strategic partnership aims to enhance flexible and accessible learning by integrating IGNOU’s online and Open and Distance Learning programmes with CSU’s academic initiatives. Key components of the MoU include joint efforts in teacher training, skill development, establishment of study centres, and curriculum translation. Under this agreement, IGNOU will oversee course delivery and certification, while CSU will facilitate outreach and student support. The collaboration also envisions the effective utilization of digital platforms such as SWAYAM and Gyan Darshan, aligning with the objectives of the National Education Policy 2020.
