| dc.description | This report summarizes the events of the inaugural release of the text Shri Prayag Kshetra Mahasar Sangraha, published by the Publication Division of the Central Sanskrit University. The book has been edited in Devanagari script by Acharya Narayan Pujar Ji under the guidance of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shrinivasa Varakhedi, and its formal release took place on Magha Shukla Tritiya (01/02/2025). The text highlights the spiritual, cultural, and historical importance of Prayag Kshetra, also known as the king of all pilgrimage sites (Teerthraj), where the sacred rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and the invisible Saraswati converge. The book is an invaluable resource for Sanskrit scholars and enthusiasts alike. Prof. Shrinivasa Varakhedi announced that the book would be distributed free of cost to encourage widespread daily reading and deeper understanding of the region’s legacy.
