Description

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 3rd June 2025 between Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, and the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad to promote academic collaboration and interdisciplinary research. The MoU aims to integrate traditional Sanskrit knowledge with modern scientific innovation. Key areas of cooperation include Sanskrit, Indian Knowledge Systems , Computational Sanskrit, Linguistics, Vedic sciences, and technology-enabled research. The agreement facilitates exchange of faculty, researchers, and students; organization of joint seminars, workshops, and summer schools; and access to library and manuscript resources. Intellectual property generated through collaboration will be jointly owned, based on contributions. The MoU will remain valid for five years, with the possibility of extension. It involves no financial commitments unless mutually agreed in writing. Confidentiality of shared information is ensured, and disputes will be resolved amicably or through arbitration under Indian law, with Hyderabad as the jurisdiction. This MoU reflects a shared commitment to innovative and scholarly exchange.
