dc.description | A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on March 1, 2024, between Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, and the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad, to foster collaborative research linking Sanskrit knowledge with modern science and technology. The primary objective is to explore Panini's Ashtadhyayi through interdisciplinary lenses such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. Focus areas include designing expert systems to resolve rule conflicts in Panini’s grammar, studying parallels between Shiva Sutras and the Periodic Table, comparing Laaghav with the principle of least action, and investigating traces of Category Theory in Sanskrit grammar. The MoU emphasizes structured project execution through mutually agreed Statements of Work (SOW), protection of jointly developed intellectual property, publication protocols, and confidentiality. | en |
