| dc.description | This report summarizes the events of the inaugural session of the Sanskrit Festival held at the New Delhi Headquarters of the Central Sanskrit University. The event was graced by Prof. Satchidananda Mishra, member of the Indian Council of Philosophical Research, as the chief guest. In his address, he emphasized the practical application of Indian shastras across diverse fields of knowledge and highlighted the depth and brevity of Indian philosophical traditions in contrast to the extensive yet limited outputs of Western scholars. Despite being away, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shrinivasa Varakhedi shared meaningful Sanskrit verses focusing on “Sanskrit, Sanskriti, and Vidyalaya.” The session was chaired by Prof. Satyanarayan Jha, who urged for sincere efforts in both simple and scholarly study of Sanskrit. The program featured addresses by Prof. B.B. Biswal and Prof. Ranbir Kumar. It saw active participation from faculty members, newly appointed staff, research scholars, and students, and concluded with heartfelt Sanskrit recitations and enthusiasm. | en |
| dc.description | इस रिपोर्ट में उद्घाटन सत्र की घटनाओं का सार प्रस्तुत किया गया है, जो केन्द्रीय संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय के नई दिल्ली मुख्यालय में संस्कृतोत्सव के अंतर्गत आयोजित किया गया। इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि भारतीय दार्शनिक अनुसंधान परिषद के सदस्य प्रो. सच्चिदानंद मिश्र उपस्थित रहे। उन्होंने अपने वक्तव्य में भारतीय शास्त्रों के विविध क्षेत्रों में व्यावहारिक प्रयोग की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया और यह बताया कि भारतीय शास्त्रज्ञ कम शब्दों में गहन ज्ञान व्यक्त करते हैं, जबकि पाश्चात्य विद्वान अधिक प्रयास से सीमित ज्ञान अर्जित करते हैं। माननीय कुलपति प्रो. श्रीनिवास वरखेडी जी ने यात्रा में रहते हुए भी "संस्कृत, संस्कृति और विद्यालय" विषय पर सुंदर श्लोकों के माध्यम से अपने विचार व्यक्त किए। कार्यक्रम अध्यक्ष प्रो. सत्यनारायण झा ने सरलता के साथ गंभीर शास्त्रीय अध्ययन की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया। प्रो. बी.बी. बिस्वाल और प्रो. रणबीर कुमार ने भी कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया। शोधार्थियों, प्राध्यापकों और नव नियुक्त कर्मचारियों की सक्रिय उपस्थिति के साथ कार्यक्रम सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न हुआ। | hi |
