Abstract
Description
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 16th January 2026 between Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, and Gyan Bharatam, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, to establish a collaborative framework for the identification, preservation, conservation, digitization, and systematic cataloguing of India’s rich manuscript heritage. The MoU also aims to promote academic research, capacity building, documentation, and knowledge dissemination, and to facilitate the creation and integration of digitized manuscripts into a National Digital Repository for wider scholarly access at national and international levels.
