Central Sanskrit UniversitySri Aurobindo Society2025-06-262022-10-19http://164.52.194.124:4000/handle/123456789/164This Memorandum of Understanding, signed on 19th October 2022 between Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi and Sri Aurobindo Society, Puducherry, aims to foster academic and cultural collaboration in Sanskrit studies and allied knowledge systems. The MoU emphasizes interaction between traditional and modern scholars for mutual enrichment, joint projects with national and international institutions, preservation of manuscripts and rare books, and preparation of culturally rooted educational resources. It includes training in Shastraic and modern disciplines, publication of Sanskrit texts and commentaries, organizing seminars and Shastra Parishads, and recognition of degrees and certificates. Both institutions commit to cooperating with similar bodies and undertaking socially relevant projects. Project-specific collaborations will be governed by separate agreements. The MoU outlines that CSU and SAS will remain independent entities without any legal or financial obligations towards each other unless formally agreed.
