On 16th August 2024, Sanskrit Week commenced at the Central Sanskrit University with a special event titled ‘Vidvatsaparya’. Renowned Shastra scholar from Kashi, Acharya Krishnakant Sharma, addressed the gathering as the chief guest and urged that Sanskrit Week should be celebrated as a “Resolution Week.” The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Acharya Prof. Shrinivasa Varakhedi, expressed a firm commitment to the preservation of the Sanskrit language, scriptures, and India’s knowledge tradition. The program was enriched with the dignity of the guru-shishya tradition, and the guests delivered inspiring speeches.
